About Me
Steven J. Finnegan
This is my Doctorate of Executive Leadership Portfolio. As the Chief Operating Officer at Hampstead Hospital, I have over 15 years of experience in leading key growth initiatives within the hospital settings. As a leader I am invested in the ACES model. I am passionate about motivating and mentoring staff to achieve their goals. I am passionate about delivering creative, reliable, and strategic outcomes that streamline processes and improve productivity in a fast-paced environment. I have a proven track record of building and leading motivated teams to achieve departmental goals and collaborating with providers, front line staff, and executives to hire support staff and increase revenue. I am highly praised for my work ethic, problem-solving and communication skills, ethical and empathetic leadership, and ability to lead with vision.
I am working towards my doctorate degree in hopes of giving back to future leaders in the healthcare industry. The DEL program at the University of Charleston in West Virginia has been one of the best decisions I have made for my education. This degree will open doors and allow for me to reach future leaders and provide mentorship through education and experience.

About my Leadership Model
ACES Leadership Model is grounded in four interdependent pillars: Accountability, Consistency, Execution, and Sustainability.
I believe accountability will build trust, sets tone for ethical behavior, and ensures responsibility at every level of leadership. Consistency fosters a culture of reliability and clarity, proving a stable foundation necessary for long term success. Execution transforms vision into action- where strategic plans becomes measurable results. Finally, sustainability ensures that decision is not only effective today but remain viable and responsible for the future, organizationally, operationally, and ethically.
